Join author Shauntay Grant as she discusses the creation of her award-winning picture book, Africville – illustrated by Eva Campbell and published by Groundwood Books.
A Q+A with the creators will follow a reading of both the English and French editions of the book.
Africville won the 2019 Marilyn Baillie Picture Book Award, and was shortlisted for the Governor General’s Literary Awards, the Nova Scotia Masterworks Arts Awards, and the Ruth and Sylvia Schwartz Children’s Book Awards.
